About Me

I am a board-certified psychiatrist providing psychotherapy and medication management for adults.

My work is grounded in an attachment-informed, psychodynamic approach, with attention to the interaction between emotional experience, relationships, and the body. I aim to provide thoughtful, individualized care that integrates clinical expertise with each patient’s lived experience.

I completed my psychiatry residency at Yale School of Medicine, where I served as Chief Resident of Diversity and Inclusion. My clinical training included outpatient care at Yale Health and the VA, with a focus on psychotherapy and longitudinal treatment.

I have particular interest and experience working with neurodivergence, complex trauma, and the ways psychological and physiological processes intersect. At the same time, my practice is not limited to any one diagnosis or presentation, and I work with a broad range of concerns.

My approach is informed both by clinical training and by personal and community perspectives. I aim to create a space that is respectful, collaborative, and attentive to differences in identity, background, and lived experience.

I earned my medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine with High Honors. I was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Prior to psychiatry, I completed four years of general surgery training at the University of Chicago.

I have previously served as volunteer clinical faculty with the Yale Department of Psychiatry and UConn School of Medicine.
